Hi! Welcome to my blog! My name is Samaira Choudhary, but you can call me Sam.
I’m a trained beauty expert and aestetician based in London. Ever since I was a little girl – 10, to be exact – I knew I’d be working in the makeup and beauty industries, although for a time I did study IT in college. Thankfully, I ditched my IT studies for what had long been a passionate hobby: makeup and beauty. More than 10 years later, after training with some of the best makeup/beauty schools in the industry, and operating a successful clinic, I’ve decided to start a blog.
What I hope to achieve with Sam’s Beauty Blog is the same thing I’ve done with my clients throughout my career: helping you to focus on your inner beauty, nutrition and overall well-being, in addition to the fun and creative effects of makeup.
A lot of people think makeup is sort of frivolous, but there is already too much negativity in this world. So as long as you feel better about yourself at the end of the day, that’s all that matters. I just want to do my bit by sharing my knowledge and expertise to make a difference and create happiness in someone’s life. I participate in many fund-raising events for charity (which I’ll keep you guys posted on, of course), and I volunteer my non-surgical services and treatments to cancer patients. Through the years, I’ve had clients with so many personal, emotional and physical problems; by helping them look and feel good, it had a tremendous effect on their personal lives.
This blog will be a great way to keep you guys informed on the newest beauty, makeup and skincare launches, as well as some of my favourite trends and products. As a trained aesthetician – by some of the best in the industry – one of my true passions is the skin; providing natural, non-surgical solutions to transform the skin to its ideal appearance. I’m also really passionate about offering advise to those of us with Afro-Caribbean or Asian-American skin, so you’ll find a lot of helpful tips here if that appeals to you.
A little bit about me: I trained at the London School of Fashion and Makeup Forever Paris. I currently run a clinic in Marble Arch and Harley Street clinic offering exclusive treatments to high-profile and celebrity clients. Some perennial advise that I offer to everyone is to moisturise! Drink more water, and use oils for cleansing and moister zing. Right now, I’m loving Decleor’s line of oils. I also really love mineral makeups, because they’re light and they give your skin a soft, dewy appearance, and really, isn’t that what we’re all after?
So, thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you’ve signed up for my newsletter, and are following me on Twitter and Facebook, and are ready to enter Sam’s World of Beauty. On this blog, I’ll bring you guys the latest beauty news, products and launches, and show you the latest techniques on developing your inner beauty, being confident and living life to the fullest!
